![]() ![]() ![]() But knowing their previous games (Hidden and Dangerous 2 and Mafia 1) I can't wait for the full release with much longer missions, fully open city etc etc. Not had any issues with the PC don't find the actual gameplay in the demo *all that* exciting to be honest (there's just not that much to do and it's all over so quickly). The atmosphere and attention to detail really do it for me.ĮDIT - Apparently there are a few problems with the demo for the PS3 which have been fixed in the full game (AA support, some physics issues. GTA gets away with a lot of it by being very tongue in cheek though, Mafia isn't at all and takes a much more sombre Dude (saying all that I don't personally have a problem with GTA and have enjoyed those games, but I think I do know where you're coming from, especially regarding player characters that you don't identify with and the general glorification of crime. You don't get to see much story in the demo, but you can get a sense of the atmosphere. ![]() Of course there are similarities with GTA + you *can* kill innocents (on the street) and car jack etc, but that's just the choices you have open to you with an 'open world' game. I tend to always do the 'good thing' in games (N:TW included!) + I don't remember cringing with the first one at any point, in fact the opposite (Mafia 1 mini-SPOLIER: You let 'good' people live who you're meant to hit + help the police in the end, in fact that's how the story's told).
